Fitness Challenge – Day 5

Time to finish it up with the weights for the week. I did 1 hour of Jari Love’s Get Ripped, Slim and Lean plus a set of leg extensions in rhythm to one of the segments on the DVD – what a killer.

I’m trying to push myself, so I upped weights just slightly in many segments. Most of the time, I had to back down for a second set, but I did make it through on the tough chest press section. Whooooo.

I still haven’t figured out how to do push ups. I really think I have a form issue which is what makes things so hard for me. But, I can’t do more than 6-7 of them off of my knees. It seems to be stiffness in my shoulders.

I did great on tricep dips and holding out through the overhead extensions. And I also did the one legged squats – which I usually skip. Boy those are tough. I balanced against a table on my screen porch for the assist (they use their step on end in the DVD.)

Tomorrow is my last run of the week, and hopefully I will be doing it without the running stroller!
